CallHippo costs ₹1,900 to ₹3,800 per user a month in India, billed yearly. What each plan includes, the fine print, and 8 alternatives priced for 5 people.
CallHippo's India plans cost ₹1,900 (Starter), ₹3,000 (Professional) and ₹3,800 (Ultimate) per user a month on yearly billing, or ₹2,500, ₹3,900 and ₹4,900 on monthly billing, plus tax. Call recording starts on Professional, so a 5-person team that records its calls pays ₹15,000 a month on yearly billing, before GST.
For a small Indian team sharing one number, flat-priced tools cost far less: TalkEasy by GrowEasy (₹999 a month plus GST, unlimited users), Heyo Phone (₹600 for 5 users), Superfone (₹599 for 3 users) and Zoho Voice (₹999 a month for up to 10 users, billed yearly). What does CallHippo cost in India?
These are the prices CallHippo shows when you set "Phone number region" to IN and currency to INR. With the region left on US/Canada, the rupee figures differ (Ultimate shows ₹4,400), which is why Indian buyers see conflicting numbers online.

How we compared: prices and features from each provider's official page, checked in September 2026 (CallHippo read with region IN and currency INR, on both billing toggles). Prices exclude 18% GST unless stated.
Add-ons are priced per user a month: AI Copilot (transcription, summaries, sentiment) costs ₹1,000, a dashboard-only user ₹1,500, and the AI Voice Agent ₹4,500, with its calls billed separately. Every paid plan starts with a 10-day free trial and no card. CallHippo's Pro Suite (Bronze, Silver, Platinum) isn't offered for the India region, so ignore any "₹1,300 per user" CallHippo price quoted online: no India plan costs that.
The fine print on CallHippo's plans
The notes and fair-usage policy on the same pricing page change what "unlimited" means:
- No auto-dialling. Customers "are prohibited from using the service for auto-dialing, predictive dialing" and similar uses.
- 10 calls an hour to one number. Going over can block the number until you ask CallHippo to unblock it.
- "Unlimited" has conditions. On the India cards, the "Unlimited Minutes" note calls them a "shared pool of free calling minutes for your entire team", valid for manual dialling to standard Indian numbers only. Clause 7 adds that unlimited calling applies only to domestic calls within the US and Canada, so ask how Indian minutes are counted before you sign up.
- Call-centre use gets re-priced. If your usage looks like call-centre bulk calling, CallHippo can change your plan or apply call-centre rates.

Why Indian teams look for a CallHippo alternative
- Per-user pricing. Every extra person adds ₹1,900 to ₹4,900 a month.
- Recording costs a tier. Starter has no call recording and keeps logs for a month.
- No dialling campaigns. Auto-dialling is banned on these plans.

The 8 alternatives, with what you gain and give up
1. TalkEasy by GrowEasy: one flat price for the whole team
Price: ₹999 a month plus GST, unlimited users and contacts, 3 hours of talktime a day, then ₹49 an hour plus GST.
Better than CallHippo at: cost for teams of 2 or more, since headcount doesn't change the price. Call recording and history, team management, an analytics dashboard and AI Call Assist are in the base plan. The business number runs in the TalkEasy app alongside each person's SIM, so no new SIM or desk phone is needed.
Give up: IVR menus, APIs and integrations with named CRMs on Pro (custom CRM integration is Enterprise, priced on request), and heavy calling: past 3 hours a day, extra time costs ₹49 an hour. The app is on Android.
2. Heyo Phone: the cheapest shared number
Price: Lite ₹300 or Pro ₹600 a month plus GST, billed monthly. Lite covers 2 users and Pro 5, both with unlimited minutes and up to 6 months of call recording.
Better at: price, a WhatsApp Business number on both plans, and an IVR with 2 departments on Pro. Give up: plans stop at 5 users, you can't choose the digits of the number, and there's no refund when you cancel.
3. Superfone: a virtual mobile number for 3 people
Price: ₹599 a month plus 18% GST for 1 number and 3 users, paid quarterly (₹2,120 with GST) or longer. Extra users cost ₹200 a month each.
Better at: a virtual mobile number, 30 days of automatic recording, and a priced AI receptionist (₹9,000 for 6 months with 1,800 AI minutes). Give up: quarterly plans cap outgoing calls at 2 hours a day across the account, the IVR has one level, and Superfone says it has no refund policy.
4. Zoho Voice: best if you already run Zoho CRM
Price: Business Phone Team ₹999 a month billed yearly for up to 10 users (₹1,499 monthly), or Basic at ₹699 per user a month billed yearly. Each includes a free Mumbai landline number.
Better at: Zoho CRM, Desk and Bigin integration, and a multi-level IVR on Basic. Give up: calls are metered at 1 credit to ₹1. Incoming calls cost 0.4 credit a minute. Outgoing calls beyond the 1,000 free minutes cost 0.8 credit a minute from the included landline number (a bridge call), or 0.4 from a Zoho mobile number that rents for 799 credits a month. Every call rounds up to the next full minute.
5. Tata Tele Smartflo Lite: operator-run IVR with unlimited Indian calls
Price: ₹950 per licence a month plus ₹5,000 one-time, minimum 3 months (₹2,850 per licence up front).
Better at: a 5-level IVR, one standard DID per agent and unlimited calling within India under a fair-use limit of 5,000 minutes per user a month, pooled. Give up: the ₹5,000 set-up fee and a 3-month minimum. Recordings are kept for 3 months.
6. MyOperator: IVR plus WhatsApp for up to 10 people
Price: Sedan ₹5,000 a month for 10 users, billed yearly (₹60,000 plus GST up front).
Better at: IVR, unlimited incoming and outgoing calls, recording and WhatsApp chat and broadcasts in one plan, which works out to ₹500 per user at 10 users. Refund claims are accepted within 30 days of activation, with conditions. Give up: monthly billing; APIs and CRM integrations need SUV at ₹15,000 a month. 7. Acefone: unlimited Indian calling plus APIs
Price: Professional ₹1,599 per user a month, minimum 6 seats, so at least ₹9,594 a month.
Better at: unlimited calling within India, one standard DID, APIs and webhooks with retries, and CRM integrations on the entry plan. Give up: small teams pay for 6 seats, and recordings are kept 3 months (12+ months costs ₹100 per seat a month).
8. Exotel: prepaid packs with APIs and an auto dialer
Price: Dabbler ₹9,999 for 5 months, made up of ₹4,999 rental and 5,000 call credits (1 credit is ₹1), for 1 number and 3 agents. GST applies.
Better at: voice APIs, a multi-level IVR, a missed-call service and an auto dialer in every pack. Give up: calls draw down credit, so the monthly cost moves with usage, and 6 agents need the ₹19,999 Believer pack. See the Exotel alternatives.
Also worth a look: Knowlarity's prepaid Advance plan costs ₹16,800 a year (₹1,400 a month) for 1 virtual number, 5 users and 1,200 free minutes a month, then 30 paise per 30 seconds. Global tools bill in US dollars: JustCall starts at $29 per user a month billed yearly (minimum 2) and Aircall at $30 per licence a month (minimum 3 users).

TalkEasy's ₹999 assumes the 3 hours of talktime a day is shared across the whole account. If the five of you talk 5 hours a day in total, the 2 extra hours add 2 × ₹49 = ₹98 a day, or ₹2,548 over 26 working days, so about ₹3,547 a month before GST (our calculation).
The takeaway: for a 5-person team, per-user pricing is the expensive part. CallHippo Professional at ₹15,000 costs 15 times Superfone's ₹999 for five users with unlimited calling, and 3 times MyOperator Sedan, which includes IVR and WhatsApp.

- 2 to 5 people sharing one number, under 3 hours of calls a day in total: TalkEasy Pro or Heyo Pro. Choose Heyo if you need an IVR menu, and TalkEasy if you expect to add people, since its price doesn't change with headcount.

- Stay with CallHippo if you need numbers in several countries on one account, want monthly billing with CRM integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho) from Professional, or already pay yearly and the team is small.

Switching from CallHippo: a checklist
- Export your call logs and recordings. Starter keeps call logs for only one month.
- List where your number is printed: Google Business Profile, ads, invoices, WhatsApp status.
- Decide what happens to the number. Mobile numbers port between licensed operators under TRAI's portability rules. For other number types, keep the old number forwarding to the new one until customers have switched.
- Finish KYC before the cut-over. DoT requires KYC of every user on a business connection (PIB). Keep your GST certificate, PAN and the signatory's ID ready.
- Time the switch to your renewal date if you pay CallHippo yearly, and run both for a week.
