TL;DR
For sales follow-up in India, SIM dialer apps cost least: Calley is free for 25 calls a day, RMDialer ₹159 per user a month billed yearly, GoDial ₹449 and TeleCRM ₹799. On a business number, Exotel includes an auto dialer in plans from ₹9,999 for 5 months. TalkEasy is a click-to-call dialer at ₹999 a month for unlimited users. Prices exclude GST.
For sales follow-up in India, the cheapest dialer software runs on your callers' own SIMs: Calley is free for 25 calls a day (₹699 a month for PRO), RMDialer costs ₹159 per user a month billed yearly, GoDial ₹449 and TeleCRM ₹799 billed yearly. On a business number, Exotel includes an auto dialer in every plan, from ₹9,999 for 5 months, and TalkEasy's click-to-call dialer costs ₹999 a month for unlimited users.
Choose by the kind of call, not the size of your list: callbacks need click-to-call and the last conversation on screen, long enquiry lists need power dialling, and promotional lists need a 140-series number before any dialer. Disclosure: TalkEasy is our product.
Which dialer software is best for sales follow-up?
How we compared: prices and features from each provider's official page, checked in September 2026. Prices exclude 18% GST unless stated, and are per month unless the row says otherwise.
| Dialer | How it dials | Starting price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Calley | Auto-dials a list from the phone's SIM or VoIP | Free (25 calls a day); PRO ₹699; TEAMS ₹1,699 | Testing list dialling, or a 5-caller team |
| RMDialer | Dialer and auto dialer on the caller's SIM | ₹159/user, billed yearly | The lowest per-seat price |
| GoDial | SIM auto-dialer with a built-in CRM | ₹449/user (₹4,309 a year) | Callers working long lists on their phones |
| TeleCRM | 1-click dialer inside a telecaller CRM | ₹799/user, billed yearly | Leads from ads and portals |
| TalkEasy | Click-to-call on a shared business number | ₹999, unlimited users | Callbacks and enquiries on one number |
| Zoho Voice | Cloud power dialer | Add-on ₹299/user; included in Contact Center (₹3,999) | Teams already on Zoho CRM |
| Exotel | Cloud auto dialer with predictive and power modes | ₹9,999 for 5 months, 3 agents | A virtual number, IVR and dialer together |
| MyOperator | Preview and progressive auto-dialer add-on | From ₹700/user, on SUV (₹15,000) or AI Team | Larger teams already on MyOperator |
On price alone, RMDialer is the cheapest way to dial lists from phones, with Calley TEAMS next for a team of 5, and Exotel is the cheapest cloud plan here with a dialer included. For telecaller CRMs such as Runo and NeoDove, where the dialer is one feature among many, see our telecalling app guide.
SIM dialer or cloud dialer?
The biggest choice isn't the brand; it is which number the customer sees.
SIM dialers (Calley, RMDialer, GoDial, TeleCRM, Runo's SIM plans) place calls from the caller's own mobile, so minutes come out of each phone's plan and the app charges per user. Setup takes minutes. The customer sees the caller's personal number, saves it, and calls that number back, even after the caller has left your business.
Cloud dialers (Exotel, Zoho Voice, MyOperator, TalkEasy) place calls from a business number the company owns, so callbacks reach whoever is on duty and the history stays in one place. They need KYC for the number and cost more per seat, except where the plan is priced for the whole team.
Rule of thumb: if customers call you back, use a business number. If you only ever call out to fresh enquiries, a SIM dialer is cheaper.
Click-to-call, power or auto: which mode for follow-up?
Follow-up calls are not cold calls. The customer has asked about something, and the caller needs to remember what.
- Click-to-call or preview for callbacks, quotes and second conversations. The caller reads the last note, then taps. TalkEasy, TeleCRM and Runo's click-to-call work this way.
- Power or progressive for long lists of fresh enquiries where most calls go unanswered. Exotel describes its power mode as "one call per agent, auto-triggered when the previous ends", so it never rings more customers than there are free callers.
- Predictive for call centres with many agents on one campaign. It rings numbers ahead of free agents, so on a small team some customers answer to silence.
The dialer types explained page covers each mode in more detail, with the TRAI rules on auto-dialled calls.
Two provider rules are worth knowing before you buy. CallHippo's fair-usage terms say customers are "prohibited from using the service for auto-dialing, predictive dialing", so its phone plans are not a dialer. JustCall, a US product that ranks high for "sales dialer", includes a power dialer from its Pro plan at $49 per user a month billed annually in USD, with a 2-licence minimum.
A 7-day follow-up cadence that fits TRAI's enquiry window
Once TRAI's September 2026 amendment takes effect, an enquiry the customer makes "in writing or through digital means" supports commercial contact for 7 days from the enquiry, and you must keep it "in a verifiable form" (TRAI press release 119/2026). In practice, keep the web form, lead-ad submission or WhatsApp message the customer sent, and we recommend finishing each follow-up inside that week.
Our suggested cadence is five calls in seven days:
| Day | Call | If no answer | Log |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0, within the hour | Call 1: confirm the need | WhatsApp: who called and why | Source, time of enquiry |
| 1, different time of day | Call 2 | WhatsApp the price or brochure asked for | Outcome, best time to call |
| 3 | Call 3: answer questions, give the quote | Short reminder message | Objection, if any |
| 5 | Call 4: offer a visit, demo or trial | Ask when to call back | Agreed next step |
| 6 | Call 5: close or close the file | Final message with your number | Won, lost, or reason |
After day 7, stop unless the customer gets in touch again; a fresh written or digital enquiry starts a new 7-day window. Keep each enquiry (form entry, ad lead or chat) with the lead record. Our guide to using AI call summaries for follow-up shows how to hand each call's notes to the next caller.
Callback script (English)
"Hi [Name], this is [your name] from [business]. You asked about [product] on [day], so I'm calling back. Is this a good time for two minutes?"
Ask: "What do you need it for?", "By when?", "What budget did you have in mind?"
Close the call with one next step: "I'll WhatsApp you the price list now. Shall I call you on Thursday at 11 to go through it?"
Callback script (Hinglish)
"Namaste [Name] ji, main [your name] bol raha/rahi hoon [business] se. Aapne [day] ko [product] ke baare mein enquiry ki thi, isliye call kiya. Do minute baat ho sakti hai?"
Poochein: "Aapko kis kaam ke liye chahiye?", "Kab tak chahiye?", "Budget kitna socha hai?"
Ek next step pe band karein: "Main abhi WhatsApp pe price list bhej deta/deti hoon. Thursday 11 baje call karun, detail mein baat kar lenge?"
Log the outcome before the next call: interested, call back (with a date), not interested (with the reason), wrong number or converted. A dialer that makes this one tap is worth more than one that dials faster.
What 5 callers pay a month
Worked example for 5 callers, before GST:
- RMDialer: 5 × ₹159 = ₹795 billed yearly (₹9,540 a year), plus each caller's mobile plan.
- GoDial: 5 × ₹449 = ₹2,245 a month, or 5 × ₹4,309 = ₹21,545 a year (about ₹1,795 a month).
- Calley TEAMS: ₹1,699 a month, or ₹16,990 a year (about ₹1,416 a month), for 5 calling agents, a team leader and an admin.
- TeleCRM: 5 × ₹799 = ₹3,995 billed yearly.
- Exotel Dabbler: ₹9,999 for 5 months, about ₹2,000 a month, for 3 agents, with 5,000 credits for calls and messages (1 credit is ₹1).
- TalkEasy Pro: ₹999 while the team stays within 3 hours of talktime a day. Extra talktime is ₹49 an hour: if 5 callers use 2 hours each a day, the 7 extra hours cost ₹343 a day, about ₹8,900 over 26 working days. This assumes the 3 daily hours are shared by the whole account.
For heavy outbound calling, a SIM dialer costs least. For a team whose customers call back, a shared business number keeps those calls with the business.
India's rules before you auto-dial
Compliance note. TRAI's February 2025 amendment bars normal 10-digit numbers from telemarketing, so promotional calls need a 140-series number (PIB). A call that mixes any promotion into another commercial call counts as promotional (TCCCPR Second Amendment), and senders must tell their telecom operator in advance, in writing, before using an auto dialer. The amendment notified on 18 September 2026 calls software-dialled and AI-voice calls "A2P calls": from 60 days after its Gazette publication, senders must declare them and the numbers used in advance, and undeclared ones count as spam. A first violation bars outgoing calls on all the sender's numbers for 15 days; a repeat disconnects them for a year.
Every SIM dialer and cloud number in this guide is an ordinary number under these rules. Use them for enquiries, callbacks and customers, not cold lists.
TalkEasy by GrowEasy for follow-up calls
TalkEasy's business dialer is click-to-call inside the TalkEasy app, on a cloud business number the whole team shares alongside their own SIMs. It logs each call's contact, time, duration and outcome, and the caller can add a note straight after the call. Calls are recorded with an announcement, and within a couple of minutes an AI call summary lists the customer's requirement, objections and the recommended next follow-up, so the day-3 caller knows what the day-1 caller heard.
Pro costs ₹999 a month plus GST for unlimited users, with 3 hours of talktime a day and extra talktime at ₹49 an hour plus GST (pricing). Choose it when customers call your business back and follow-ups pass between people. Choose Calley, GoDial or Exotel instead when callers spend the day working through long lists, where automatic dialling saves more time than a shared number.
