Introduction
Knowlarity sells its small-business plans in blocks of users and bills them by the year. TalkEasy charges one monthly fee for the whole team, however many people use the number. That difference shapes most small-team comparisons before a single feature is weighed.
This page is for owners and sales leads of teams of about five to twenty people who share a business number, record calls and want to see which calls become customers. The sums start with cost per user, because that is where the two pricing models part ways.
Every calculation is shown. Each figure can be redone from the published prices and the formula in the cost section, then checked against your own call log.
The comparison also covers contract terms and artificial intelligence (AI) call summaries, where the two products differ most after price. It names the cases where Knowlarity is the better pick.
Key takeaways
- TalkEasy is the better choice for a small Indian team that shares one business number: paid plans include unlimited users and contacts, call recording and history, team management and analytics.
- TalkEasy's cost per user falls with every person added to the number, because the monthly fee does not change with team size.
- For a 10-person team, TalkEasy Pro costs less than Knowlarity Premium at typical talk volumes. Teams that talk heavily can ask for an Enterprise quote with unlimited talktime.
- Knowlarity is the better pick if you need an IVR (interactive voice response) phone menu, a toll-free number, the WhatsApp Business API or a contact centre with agent queues.
How much does Knowlarity cost per user compared with TalkEasy?
On Knowlarity's three yearly small-business plans, each user costs ₹250 to ₹285 a month. That is our arithmetic: yearly price ÷ 12 ÷ users included, as of 27 October 2026. On TalkEasy the cost per user is the monthly fee divided by however many people use the number, so it falls as the team grows.
The TalkEasy rows divide our monthly fee by the people on the number and cover talktime up to the included 3 hours a day. TalkEasy figures are before GST. Knowlarity figures are as listed. For other team sizes, see business phone plans costed for 5, 10 and 20 people.

Cost sheet for a 10-person team
This is our model; TalkEasy before GST, Knowlarity as listed. H is your team's total talk hours in a month.
- TalkEasy Pro = ₹999 + ₹49 × (H − 90), with the second term counted only when H is above 90. The 90 is 3 hours × 30 days. We assume unused daily talktime carries across the month; if it does not, use 3 hours × your calling days instead of 90.
- Knowlarity Premium = ₹2,850 + ₹24 × (H − 83.3), with the second term counted only when H is above 83.3. The ₹2,850 is one-twelfth of the yearly price, paid yearly. The 83.3 is 5,000 minutes ÷ 60. The ₹24 is 20 paise per 30 seconds, scaled to an hour.
The assumptions are ours:
- A 30-day month.
- Talktime counted across the whole account.
- All minutes, inbound and outbound, counted against both allowances.
- Knowlarity's prices as listed.
- No rounding of each call up to a full 30-second block. Knowlarity bills in those blocks, so real Knowlarity costs would be somewhat higher than modelled.
Replace H with the total talk time from your own call log, run both formulas, and compare the two results.
Call quality and support speed cannot be read from a price page, so run both on your own calls before you decide. For a wider price comparison, see virtual number providers in India, compared by price. Talk to Our Expert, or write to support@groweasy.ai. You can also see our plans and prices.

Why choose TalkEasy over Knowlarity for a team of about ten?
TalkEasy suits a team of about ten because one monthly fee covers every user, there is no yearly term, and calls are summarised and shared on one number.
- One fee covers everyone. Our paid plans include unlimited users and contacts. Going from 10 to 11 people moves a team from the 10-user plan to the 20-user plan on Knowlarity's list.
- No yearly commitment. We let customers cancel anytime, with no long-term lock-in.
- Summaries without building anything. Our AI call summaries appear in the call details screen within a couple of minutes, so a sales lead reads what was agreed instead of replaying the recording.
- Missed calls get a callback. Our missed call automation is designed to call customers back after a missed call. What your team does after the callback is covered in our missed call callback workflow.
- One shared history. Everyone on the number sees the same call history, recordings and contacts. Analytics cover total calls, answer rate, missed calls, average talk time and peak calling hours, and the reports download.
When does Knowlarity suit better than TalkEasy?
Knowlarity suits you if you need an IVR phone menu, a toll-free number, the WhatsApp Business API or a contact centre with agent queues.
- Menus, toll-free numbers and messaging. Knowlarity sells multi-level IVR (the "press 1 for sales, press 2 for support" menu), toll-free numbers and the WhatsApp Business API. As of 27 October 2026 its toll-free plans run from ₹21,000 to ₹46,200 a year, with incoming calls at ₹1.05 a minute. For what a phone menu costs elsewhere, see cloud telephony pricing in India.
- A contact centre. Knowlarity offers per-agent contact-centre plans at ₹1,999 (inbound), ₹2,999 (inbound and outbound) and ₹3,499 (with lead management) a month. For another contact-centre option, see TalkEasy vs Ozonetel.
What are Knowlarity's contract and notice terms before you sign?
Knowlarity's small-business plans run for one year. Its softphone plans carry a minimum one-year contract with quarterly advance payment, and its terms of use require 30 days' written notice to end a postpaid plan. Prepaid accounts can be renewed within two months of expiry, but the same number or plan is not guaranteed.
Our plan is a monthly subscription plus talktime, and customers can cancel anytime without a lock-in. Knowlarity also offers customised plans, so a quote may differ from the published prices.
Put three questions to any provider in writing before paying:
- Is the price before or after GST? Pass: a written total that shows the GST amount.
- Does a one-year minimum apply to my plan? Pass: a written yes or no for the exact plan.
- What happens to my number if I leave? Pass: written confirmation of who keeps it and at what cost.
How do AI call summaries differ between TalkEasy and Knowlarity?
Our AI call summaries appear within a couple of minutes and cover six things: the customer's requirement, key discussion points, questions asked, objections raised, the recommended next follow-up and the call outcome. Knowlarity sells transcription as a speech-analytics API (application programming interface, a connection your developers build on), billed per 15 seconds of audio.
Knowlarity's speech-analytics service returns transcription, emotion, intent and question data. Its prices are quoted per 15 seconds against a committed monthly minimum, exclusive of taxes. In our view that suits a company with developers who want to build its own reports. A sales lead who wants to read what was agreed on each call gets that from a summary without building anything.
On languages, Knowlarity's speech analytics covers 125 languages. Its premium phone-call models cover English (US), English (UK), Russian and Spanish (US). Language quality varies by product, so test any provider, ours included, on your own calls; the FAQ below gives a 10-call method.
Our verdict
For a small Indian team of about five to twenty people sharing one business number, TalkEasy is the better choice: one flat monthly fee covers every user, there is no yearly term, and calls are recorded, summarised and analysed.
