In brief
Freshcaller's paid plans cost $15, $39 and $69 per agent per month on annual billing. Minutes and number rental are billed on top, and Freshworks' country list shows India as "NA" for local, mobile and toll-free numbers. The number you need is a monthly total, not a seat fee.
The $15 on Freshcaller's price list is a seat fee. Minutes and number rental are billed on top, in US dollars. An Indian team has a second problem. Freshworks' own country list shows India as "NA" for local, mobile and toll-free numbers. The free incoming minutes that make the plans look generous are written for other countries. None of that makes Freshcaller a bad product. It means the number you need is a monthly total, not a seat fee. Below are the plan prices, five other sellers' published prices, a worksheet for your own total, and a worked example. Prices are as of 2 November 2026.

Key takeaways
- Freshcaller's paid plans cost $15, $39 and $69 per agent per month on annual billing. Every plan adds per-minute call charges and number rental, so the seat fee is not your bill.
- Freshworks' country list shows India as "NA" for local, mobile and toll-free numbers. Numbers outside the US and Canada are arranged by email.
- Seat fees for 5 agents run $75 to $345 a month before numbers and calls.
- A shared Indian business number priced in rupees, with unlimited users, suits teams that do not need Freshdesk tickets or Freshcaller's queue tools.
What does Freshcaller pricing cost per agent?
Freshcaller's paid plans cost $15 (Growth), $39 (Pro) and $69 (Enterprise) per agent per month on annual billing, as of 2 November 2026. The Free plan costs $0 per agent. All plans pay per minute for calls, and Freshworks' pricing page shows annual billing as 20% cheaper than monthly.
An agent is one person who takes calls on the system. Number porting means moving an existing number to a new provider. A wait queue holds callers in line until an agent is free. A warm transfer introduces the caller to the next person before handing over, and a cold transfer hands over without an introduction. An escalation passes a call to someone more senior. Why does a Freshcaller bill for an Indian team differ from the price list?
The price list assumes a number and a call allowance that do not apply to India. Freshworks' list of countries where numbers are available shows India as "NA" for local, mobile and toll-free numbers. It says to email numbers@freshcaller.com to buy any number outside the US and Canada.
The included minutes follow the same pattern. Freshworks' free incoming minutes article lists the US, Canada, the EU including the UK, and Australia and New Zealand among the eligible countries. The allowance applies only to local numbers bought in those countries. It excludes mobile and toll-free numbers, does not carry over month to month, and covers only calls answered in the browser. On those rules, an Indian team should not count on the 2,000 to 5,000 free minutes. After the allowance, eligible calls cost $0.013 a minute.
Extras are billed per minute on top, per Freshworks' call rates page:
- Call recording: $0.0032 a minute.
- Monitoring a call or barging in (a supervisor joining a live call): $0.005 a minute.
- Voicemail transcription: $0.004 a minute.
Freshworks' number-buying guide says each number type has its own rate, which varies by country, and that numbers are paid for from phone credits in your account.
How do other sellers' published prices compare for a 5-person team?
For five people, Freshcaller's seat fees run from $75 to $345 a month. Rupee-priced contact-centre plans from MyOperator and Acefone run from ₹5,000 to ₹9,995. TalkEasy Pro is a monthly subscription with 3 hours of talktime (minutes spent on calls) a day included, plus ₹49 + GST for each extra hour. These products differ in scope, so read the table as a cost of entry, not a like-for-like ranking.
Our calculation is the published per-seat price times five seats (or the plan's minimum seats where that is higher), seat fees only. The prices come from each seller's own pricing page as of 2 November 2026. They exclude minutes, numbers and tax. GST is India's Goods and Services Tax. What makes a Freshcaller bill go up or down?
Six things move the bill: the plan tier, the billing term, head count, how much you call, number types, and whether you record and monitor calls.
- Tier. Moving from Growth to Pro adds $24 per agent per month ($39 minus $15), and Enterprise adds a further $30.
- Billing term. Annual billing is 20% cheaper than monthly, according to the pricing page.
- Head count. Seats scale linearly, so ten agents cost twice what five do.
- Calls and numbers. Numbers outside the US and Canada are arranged by email, so ask for the call rate and number rental in writing.
- Recording and monitoring. Recording 1,000 minutes costs $3.20 (1,000 × $0.0032). It scales with call volume, not head count.
- A helpdesk on top. Freshdesk Omni's pricing page lists helpdesk seats at $29, $79 and $119 per agent per month on annual billing. The voice add-on is listed at $15, $39 and $69 per agent per month.
How do you work out your own monthly Freshcaller total?
Add seven lines, in dollars first, then convert. This is our worksheet, not an official calculator.
Worked example (our model). Five agents on Growth with annual billing, 1,000 recorded minutes, 200 monitored minutes and 100 transcribed voicemail minutes:
- A: 5 × $15 = $75
- D: 1,000 × $0.0032 = $3.20
- E: 200 × $0.005 = $1.00
- F: 100 × $0.004 = $0.40
- A + D + E + F = $79.60 in seat and add-on fees only, before number rental and call charges
Lines B and C come from your written quote, because rental and call rates depend on the country and number type.
The same size of team on TalkEasy Pro (our model, in rupees). Suppose the team's calls add up to 5 hours of talktime on each of 26 working days. Pro includes 3 hours a day, so 2 hours a day are extra, at ₹49 + GST an hour. That is 2 × ₹49 = ₹98 a day, and 26 × ₹98 = ₹2,548 a month. Add the ₹999 subscription for ₹3,547 + GST. The figure is the same for 5 or 50 users, because paid plans include unlimited users. This includes the calls themselves, so it is not comparable with the $79.60 seat-and-add-on figure above.

When should a team stay on Freshcaller, and when should it switch?
Stay on Freshcaller if your team works inside Freshdesk tickets and needs wait queues, voicemail or routing automation, and Freshworks confirms in writing that it can supply your Indian numbers. Look at a rupee-priced alternative if you mainly need a shared business number, call recording and a monthly cost you can predict.
Our virtual business number gives your whole team one shared number with routing, recordings, analytics and AI summaries. Paid plans include unlimited users and contacts, call recording and history, team management and analytics. AI Call Summaries deliver a transcript, summary, intent and follow-up information within a couple of minutes of a call ending. You choose a talktime pack in the app or on login, pay by UPI (Unified Payments Interface), card or netbanking, and get a saved invoice. You can cancel anytime without a long-term lock-in. How do you get a fair Freshcaller quote for India?
Email numbers@freshcaller.com before you pay for seats, ask four questions, then check the answers in the 14-day trial where it allows. Freshworks' pricing page says the trial gives access to Enterprise features.
Ask for these in writing:
- Whether local, mobile and toll-free Indian numbers can be supplied, and the monthly rental for each.
- The per-minute rate for incoming and outgoing calls to Indian landlines and mobiles.
- Whether your Indian numbers fall under any included-minutes allowance.
- The currency of your invoice and how GST appears on it.
Then run this check. If the trial lets you add phone credits and a number, place 20 calls of known length. Pass: credits deducted equal minutes × the quoted rate, rounded as Freshworks states. Fail: any other amount, which you take back to Freshworks before committing to annual billing.
Legitimate ways to pay less
- 1.Choose annual billing on Freshcaller, which the pricing page shows as 20% cheaper than monthly.
- 2.On TalkEasy Pro, 3 hours of talktime a day are included, and paid plans include unlimited users, so the figure is the same for 5 or 50 users.
- 3.Use the 14-day Freshcaller trial, which gives access to Enterprise features, to check the answers before committing to annual billing.
