Which should you choose?
Choose TalkEasy if
- Your team has fewer than six people. Acefone Professional bills a six-seat minimum, so a team of three pays for six. Our Pro plan charges one fee for the team.
- Your headcount changes. Pro includes unlimited users and contacts. A new hire adds talktime, not a seat fee.
- You want records without add-ons. Call recording and history, team management and an analytics dashboard are part of Pro. Our AI Call Summaries turn each recording into a transcript, summary, intent and follow-up within a couple of minutes.
- Calls arrive when nobody is free. Our AI Receptionist answers calls, captures lead details, handles common questions, and transfers the call or arranges a callback.
- You want to start today and leave freely. You can start a trial instantly, pay by UPI, card or netbanking, and download a saved invoice. The Android app (Android 7.0 or later) is on Google Play, and you can cancel anytime. Details are on our pricing page.

Introduction
Acefone sells seats, not teams: its cheapest India plan starts at six paid seats, so a team of three is billed as six.
The difference comes from how each is billed. Acefone charges per user. TalkEasy charges one monthly fee for the whole team plus talktime, which is the time your people spend on calls. Call recording and history, team management and analytics are part of the plan.
A shared-number team pays one fee on TalkEasy however many people join, and the workings below show the cost at 3, 6, 10 and 20 people. TalkEasy is one of the two products compared.
Key takeaways
- A team of three pays about ₹3,204 a month on Pro for 4.5 talk hours a day, against ₹9,594 on Acefone Professional (as of October 2026).
- Acefone's Contact Center Studio plans start at five or six paid seats, so a team of three is billed as six.
- Our AI Call Summaries and AI Receptionist handle calls and follow-up: summaries within a couple of minutes, and calls answered, leads captured and callbacks arranged.
- Pro includes unlimited users, recording, history and analytics, and you can cancel anytime.
How much does Acefone cost a small team in India, seat by seat?
Acefone's Contact Center Studio costs ₹1,599 per user a month on Professional (minimum 6 seats) and ₹1,999 on Ultra (minimum 5 seats), as of October 2026. Add-ons are extra: WhatsApp is ₹200 per seat a month and each extra number ₹100 a month.
Its Interactions Hub plans use different minimums: Professional at ₹1,599 per seat asks for at least 7 users, and Ultra at ₹2,299 per seat asks for at least 5.
Here is what Contact Center Studio costs by team size, with no add-ons. We worked it out as price × seats you must buy.
A 10-person team that adds WhatsApp pays 10 × ₹200 = ₹2,000 more, which makes ₹17,990 on Professional. For other providers at similar team sizes, see Best Virtual Number Providers in India, Compared by Price and Business Phone Plans for Sales Teams: 5, 10 and 20 People Costed.

What would a small team pay on TalkEasy Pro?
TalkEasy Pro costs ₹999 + GST a month plus ₹49 + GST an hour for talktime beyond the 3 hours a day included. Our model for a 30-day month:
Monthly cost = Pro fee + (H − 3) × ₹49 × 30, where H is your team's total talktime in hours per day, counted across the whole account, and the second term is zero when H is 3 or less.
We do not add GST to either side. Add-ons are left out.
These are our model's figures, not quotes. Your own number matters more than any row, so measure it before you decide. How to Track Your Sales Team's Calls: 6 Metrics, Weekly Report shows how to pull total talk time from a week of call history.

How many talktime hours a day can a team use before TalkEasy Pro costs as much as Acefone?
TalkEasy Pro stays cheaper than Acefone Professional up to about 8.9 total talk hours a day for a six-seat bill, 13.2 for ten seats and 24.1 for twenty. We solved Pro fee + (H − 3) × ₹49 × 30 = Acefone Professional cost for H, where H is total talktime hours per day across the account:
- 6 seats (₹9,594): about 8.9 hours a day in total.
- 10 seats (₹15,990): about 13.2 hours a day in total.
- 20 seats (₹31,980): about 24.1 hours a day in total.
Below those limits, TalkEasy costs less. Our inference, not a measured figure: a team that shares one number for inbound calls and follow-ups rarely reaches these totals. Measure your own seven days first.
What does TalkEasy not include that Acefone does?
TalkEasy's plans do not include IVR menus (interactive voice response, the "press 1 for sales" menus) or WhatsApp features, while Acefone offers WhatsApp as an add-on, API access (letting your software control calls) and voicebots (automated voice assistants). If you need custom CRM (customer relationship management software) integration, our Enterprise plan includes it and is quoted per customer.
How do you test either product before you pay?
Run these six checks during any trial, ours or Acefone's. Each has a pass and a fail.
- Seat check. Count the people who will take or make calls this month. Pass: you would use every seat you are billed for. Fail: you pay for six seats with three users.
- Talktime check. Add up your team's call hours for seven days and divide by seven. Pass: the daily average of total account hours is under 8.9 (six seats), 13.2 (ten seats) or 24.1 (twenty seats), so TalkEasy Pro costs less. Fail: it is above, so get an Acefone quote.
- Add-on check. List what you need beyond calling, such as WhatsApp, extra numbers or longer recording. Pass: every add-on you need has a published price, and the seat count × price plus add-ons is at or below the TalkEasy total for the same team. Fail: any needed feature has no listed price.
- Call-handling check. Place 10 test calls, two of them while another line is busy. Pass: all 10 appear in call history with a recording. Fail: any call is missing.
- Summary check. Review five recorded calls. Pass: each has a usable summary or notes the same day, within minutes on our AI Call Summaries.
- Rules check. If you make promotional calls, ask the provider how it supports the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI)'s commercial communications regulations. Treat recordings as personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (our recommendation), and announce recording to callers: see Call Recording Announcement in India. Pass: you get a written answer to the first and a script for the second.
Our verdict
If your team is under about ten people and answers or makes calls on a shared business number, we recommend TalkEasy: you pay one team fee instead of a fee per seat, and recording, history and analytics are in the plan.
How we compared
We compared list prices and plan terms on both companies' own India price pages on 29 October 2026. We added no GST to either side. Costs are monthly, exclude add-ons, and use a 30-day month. The talktime model treats our 3 daily hours as account-level, so all calls on the account are added together. It assumes talktime is the same every day; unused daily hours do not carry over, so uneven days cost slightly more. Break-even figures are our calculation from those inputs and will change if either price changes.
